This project is a clear example of how digital and experiential marketing can be a good couple.
Telefónica, as a partner of Valencia, el Athletic Club and la Real Sociedad, had the chance to create special events related with these teams.
We created different experiences that allowed the supporters to live really unique moments:
 
·      Shooting penalties during the half time of a match.
·      Play a mini-match with a club’s classic player, like Patxi Ferreira, ex Athletic Club player.
·      Traveling with the team.
·      Becoming a journalist for one day and publishing an article on our website.
 
But how could supporters get access to these experiences? We created three websites, one for each club.
On the websites the fans were able to participate in games, surveys, contests... With all these activities they earned points which could be exchanged for raffle tickets. We did weekly raffles so they could win one of those awesome experiences.
